Elaine Arruda, known as “Nany Arruda, was born in 1988 in São Paulo, Brazil. Called as a missionary, she is also a professional and talented artist, that has been marking the places around her with passion and an unique way to express Jesus and His kingdom. Her heart and life’s purpose is to reach children and women, to see them being healed as from a broken background or life history, she believes that homes should be be the safest place in the world for a person and that should know God, having Him at center of their homes.

My mother visited single mothers in situations of vulnerability in garbage dumps, slums (favelas) and always accompanied her. And at age 8 at a "home cult" in one of these places. My first missionary trip was to Africa. I served in the orphanage, women's ministry and arts department (Giving a workshop to the mothers and students at the Harvest School). We crossed the country to tribes where people had never ever listenig about Jesus or seen white people. We had the opportunity to accompany Heide and Roland Baker on this trip.

Jake Hamilton chose an art to represent the text of this book based on 1 Cor. 13 -
"Love endures all things" The reason? Her daughter, who is paralyzed, always felt sitting on Jesus' lap. Jake is a Christian singer and songwriter, one of the best known songs is "The Anthem" when He was at Jesus Culture.

SHORES OF GRACE MINISTRIES, RECIFE BRAZIL
Since 2011 I was helping the ministry Shores of Grace via online providing prophetic art, but in October/2013 I was invited to join the Shores of Grace team. So in January/2014 I moved to the Brazilian northeast. It's been almost seven years (2013-2019) serving women and children who came from prostitution and human trafficking situations. I had the grace of God to contemplate their redemption in Christ. I served in the areas as social media coordinator, ministerial schools, home for women, Vila Betania (host house), Hadassa (girls +18 who have no family who were in the foster home); Leaders of Evangelism in the Red Zone area, among street children - where I even shared a room with them... find out more...

In 2015 - 2017 I studied at Bethel Church's BSSM (Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry) ministerial school in California. I studied Arts, Leadership, Sozo, Transcutural Mission, Social Justice and the Bible.

In 2019, at the invitation of actress Isabelle Drummond and her business partner Mariana Fernander, I made an artistic presentation at the opening of the natural products restaurant "Levê Pocket" inside MG4, at Estudios Globo (the most know and large TV) .

2020-2022
sabbatical
intense search for God, rediscovery of my relationship with Jesus and reflecting on everything I had lived in the countryside. It was a time of deep healing and personal growth. I reconnected with friends living in Europe, mentored artists, helped establish/trained an evangelism/rescue team with a focus on women/man in prostitution; and and create a prophetic art team in my local community ! BUT it was at this time that Abba invited me again:
"DO YOU TRUST ME? AND WOULD YOU GO BACK TO THE MISSION FIELD? TO A CONTINENT THAT NEVER BURNED YOUR HEART"
I answered "yes" so I started to see signs, study the local language and ask for a baptism of love and compassion for these people. Read more...
