Quote Corrie ten Boom
"Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God..."

Who was she?

During World War II, Corrie ten Boom's family owned a watch shop in Holland and they were part of a resistance group that actively worked to protect Jewish families. Eventually, the ten Boom family was sent to a concentration camp, where the patriarch died ten days later. Corrie's sister Betsie also died in the field. While they were together, Betsie's faith helped strengthen Corrie.

This faith led Corrie to forgive even the cruel men who served as guards during her concentration camp days. Even though hatred and the desire for revenge continued to destroy many lives long after the concentration camps ended, Corrie knew the truth: Hatred hurts the hater more than the hated person, no matter how justified it may be.

An extraordinary woman! In her heart there was a proclamation that echoed in her speech: “Jesus conquered”, in this way she also conquered, for she lived for Christ.
